I've worked at Odiham on some exercise with the RAF and Army, we got a right ticking off for turning up in a white Hertz van at the side of the runway, getting changed from civvy clothes into our overalls, recovering our Seaking and carrying out an After Flight Service (AFS), wrapping the "Cab" up, changing back into civvys and going back to our 4 star hotel for a few drinkies....Happy days

Our Commanding Officer argued that he didn't want his men getting a bad nights rest and compromising his Aircraft and Crew's safety :
