Whilst standing at the entrance to Windex on Friday, the fella
Stood in front of me said that now even the 2 meter working height
From even a `V`ladder or pointer was not allowed.
Seems strange to me,known him for awhile, and he`s commercial
(large too) work only.
Anyone else heard of this new law adjustment ?
Thanks for replies.

I believe the WHAD is not set to any height, so even 1 inch from the floor means you could be breaking the directive if someone had an accident.

The WAHR you can only go 9 meters high
Working at height is centimeter of the floor
It says when you want to work at height you have justify what method you use
You have to do a suitable and suffetient R/Assesment
You have to use the safesty way possible
And every thing should be done under as reasonable practicable

It means WAH regs start as soon as your foot leaves the floor even by 1cm

Trevor
The FWC as made a statement and recomeded 6 meters, this is guidence only
The law does say 9 meters
I would leave your documents alone as this would be deemed good practice
