Windex - a NEW product.
« on: March 20, 2010, 12:20:00 pm »
Did nobody else notice this? It was the only NEW trolley I saw. (Sure there were a few re-hashes of established trolleys - one of which is also gives you a Charles Atlas workout while you work!)

It's NOT based on slinging around jerry cans of water. Rather it's a custom-made polypropylene tank with all the works hidden away out of sight and out of harm's way.

Here's their web site - but it's not up and running yet (WHY NOT?)

I know that this will get loads of "why-don't-you-get-a-van-mount" bleating, but for those of us who have chosen trolleys or may choose a trolley in the future, this one is a serious contender.

It looks a very good bit of kit Wally, I was impressed with their modular poles too.

Yes, I think that they might be continuing a long line of Glasgow's excellent and innovative engineering.

Yes. It looks like a Greek soldier being on the receiving end of a water balloon fight.

But the design of the trolley and the engineering is exemplary.

Hi Wally.

I noticed it too and think its something new on WFP WC market. Modular pole is also great. Company team is very kind and professional. I am very glad that I had a chance to speak to John.

p.s. it was nice to see you Wally at the WindEx.

best regards,

Vadim

I thought it was an excellent trolley. I was told that the tank can be sized to your specification. I think the trolley was 30 litres as it stood. Their own window cleaning team have been using it for a year and modifications have been made to areas that were not up to the job.

Nice to meet you Wally.  :)

And not clear from the picture is that there is quite a large, flat surface on the front that you could get sign written, so it's not only a dead smart trolley, but it's a mobile marketing signboard.
