done a gutter vac job today and the 48ft didnt reach, had to put on another 12ft with all the sections put in 6 inches its about 56ft

The chap in the picture has been working for me part time for a while and has only been doing up to 3-4 floors / 36 ft , I gave him a go on this job today and he didnt like it  ,

i done most of the higher level myself and gave a few small sections to ease him into it slowly

We too have only gone up to 48', i'm not brave enough to go any higher yet + no one to delegate to !
 Did u walk that length up or did u add sections as you went along?, reason i ask is i walked up 48' and it weighed a ton, bit of a bend in it also.
 Have your pole sections got jubilee clips to clamp?and how do you find them, mine seem to be slowly disintegrating.

Did u have any problems with the nozzle getting stuck!!?? big problem if u do!

I hope you chaged good money for that job! as it would have normal cost them a arm and leg to get it done with scaffold!!!!!

i charged a fair price due to the height but not to much, the company i work for has got me to quote a few sites so keeping the prices realistic

when i got the guttervac i only had to be cheaper than scaffolding or a cherry pickers,now theres loada people quoting for the same job, soon the prices will be the same as a window clean ,thats when i plan to sell the vac unless i have loada annual cleans

its was nice and dry so the nozzle didnt get blocked once thank god,

putting the pole up- i started with the low 36ft work to warm up with and just added sections to go higher, the flex was emmence so would put it up from the ground as also had a camera on the end.

if any of you remember the old ionics 60ft pole it was simular to that
