Cleaning/sterilising a machine
« on: March 18, 2010, 03:46:41 pm »
had my first big urine explosion yesterday. Old boy had a small accident, so the daughter informed me, hit a patch on the carpet with the duo, then the machine and whoosh, what a smell. Minging, and lingered all the way home. Just as well it was the last job of the day. bought thin bleach and left it in machine, then sooked it through wand, pulsing to let it drain both ways followed by a rinse, and 10 minute drying out motors time. How do you clean a duo? tried hwe as it was spinning, and today had a couple of lets to do, but could still smell it, or maybe it was still lingering from yesterday.

I only ever use my brush when doing urine jobs. Keep the Sebo Duo for everything that is not blood, p, vomit etc
