Hi all.
I have the cleaning contract for a Plymouth night club and have had it for the past seven or eight years; the owner is more a family friend than a boss now, and he recently asked me to let him know when I was next cleaning the carpets as he had a "small rug" that was minging and could do with a going over.
Well, I let him know they were due and he asked me to give him a hand with the rug as it was a bit big to carry over from his flat alone!!!
Christ, I've seen smaller rooms!!
It turns out to be a very nice but very minging twenty year old Chinese rug, about 10' x 6' and to be honest, having never cleaned a Chinese rug before I wasn't keen to start with this one. However he simply said to just clean it like I usually do and if it comes up nice fine, if not he'd bin it - he's a rich night club owner with a very nice house in Spain

So, I thought sod it; pre-sprayed it and went ahead with warm water and my hand tool and it come up a flippin treat. He was well pleased, and so he should be.
Anyway, he asked me how much I owed him today and, due to him having recently given my nine year old lad a rather nive flat screen tv recently I told him not to worry about it.
My question: How much did I save him?
