i seem to be losing the pain in the back side ones,  ie no access and bad payers, like today lost a house as she couldnt be bothered to disturb her dog in the back yard,  but i pick up 3 of her neighbours

Nice one mate.
I bet she'll ask you to clean them in the summer as you clean the houses around hers lol

Going other way here, getting enquiries just about everyday.

Just put Van No 3 on the road yesterday, bought it from the "for sale" section on here, had to go to Belfast to get it though, cracking buy.

I'm pushing the commercial work to try and get it enough for a full week.

Lost a customer this morning. I'd done the fronts of her house last week. I missed the back 'cause of all the dog sh*t and said as much on her bill. So she phoned me up this morning claiming she always cleans up after her dog. I told her if she was going to lie about it I wasn't really interested in doing her windows.

She hung up.

Lost one today. Only cleaned his windows the once so far. He telephoned to say that his old window cleaner 'had come back' !!

I replied,'Oh that's good, you know where I'll be when the weather turns bad again!!'

Like heck, gonna be full be then !

On a positive note, I did gain three new ones today as well !

Im not losing none. I dont understand why you guys drop these custys when the pi$$ you off. I just put them up £1 every 6 months till they cancel. If they ask about the increase I tell them its because the access is a pain or collecting is a nuisasnce or there garden is like a mine field.  That way i never feel guilty for dumping them

I spoke with one of my customers today about this, I said about the loses ect my jaw hit the floor when he said to me, he understands what I mean he lost 100 million last year  :o :o :o I am very rarely lost for words but that did it for me, I then replied after picking my mouth up from the floor "ouch" (first thing that came to mind) he also gave me a tip in the cheque and laughed it off ;D

I didn't (lol).  Dropped one (so they couldn't 'stitch' me up at a later date) and one 'dropped' (passed away, snuffed it) :)

Just tendered for the Morrisons contract in Northumberland.....will I get it, probably not, however if I do I'll be happy cos it's at my price and not a undervalued price.
