Internals are a messy subject with salt and efflorescence.
Any chemical used to remove will need rinsing off with plenty of water so unless you have an extraction system you may be better to try brushing the loose salt form the surface of the brick and see what is left afterwards.
just a thought

Hi Andy
We have an extraction system as such.
It's an alternative to corrosive products we are looking for due to carpets, plastic skirting, varnished wood etc any advice would be grateful.
Thanks
Richie

Is it a new brick wall or an old one?
What area are you loking at having to clean?

Hi Andy
It's 22 year old block concrete wall which makes up the front of the flats within a complex, areas conncerned are approx 15 feet high by 70 foot long
Methods used so far wire brush, soft brushed, vacuumed, chemical cleaned (concrete cleaner), wrinced using an extractor result reasonable but need to take it a stage further
Thanks

Hi Richie
Sounds like you have tried most methods to remove the salt.
I have an idea, if you call me tomorrow or Friday I can go through it with you if that will be any help?
Might be a solution for you or might not be any good, see what you think.
