carbon poles
« on: March 15, 2010, 04:19:58 pm »
My partner and I have now perfected carbon repair.........  professional hockey sticks, squash racquets, fishing rods, bicycle rims and frames, and many other applications......... our fix is perfect, and with the same strength or better...... it has taken us five years to perfect our trade.....  My QUESTION is .....i would like to repair carbon poles for window cleaning, is this a realistic question?........     lwsach@gmail.com

I think so depending on the price.  A lot of window cleaners will damage or break a pole section, these can be replaced so the repair will need to be a lot cheaper than the replacement.

Judging by the price of a replacement section im sure there is a market, im sure if you did a deal with a member to give it a go on one of there broken sections they could come back here and give a view of what your work was like, maybe steve cm will give it a go as he just had 2 sections of his pole break.

Have you ever thought of developing an ultra-strong carbon modula pole?

Would you have the knowlage to take a project like this onboard as it seems these modula poles are light but very weak!!!!
