We use stop ends. When you disconnect the pole the water stops. Can be a problem if you are using a 1/2 inch hose as it tends to build up pressure. We use microbore. Also we have Variflows on our pumps to reduce the water that we use. It means you can turn down the flow of the water and adjust the pressure at which the pump stops.
