We've got a "Vanity plate" of low financial value - say less than £500 ish - on the family car but it doesn't represent our initials or anything.

  he owner of the company I used to work for splashed out on the private plates.

  He was a Greek Cypriot, first name of Paris, so he bought himself "PAR1S", while he was at it he put "E1FEL" on the MD's car, but to top it off, his best mate was CEO and a bit of a snooker fan, so he bought him "147 MAX" as a xmas present, that is worth a few bob.

Whats the point in a personal number plate for a business van?

Oh i know... i will get it sign written so they know my business..then oh eh... lets get a personal number plate,so they know im also a big head and into.... ME   ... 


Good business strategy.not!

For tax purposes the plate must have your business name on not your own name. For me personaly I would sooner pay £2k for a plate than give the £2k to Mr taxman. Get my drift.

I love the acceleration on my bike. Wish my VW Transporter was like it. Keep getting followed by the coppers when I'm on it. Wickedly fast in comparison to a van
