Hi all,, first post for me

Got a new leather rats tails 12 oz and just wanted to no if you have to give it a good soak in soapy water first before you use it? Wanted it for some frosted glass i do thought it might be quicker for me.

do not use any soap on it wash it in warm water with a bit of vinegar in the water, most people have stopped using these now and use microfibre cloths instead

ive a couple of these rat tails but havent used them on windows yet . iv used one to wash my car with and the car shines better than it ever did before ,  a really high gloss sheen.

i stopped using them about 4 years back used to do all the top openers with them

thanks all for the help, i will keep it in the car for thoes dirty frames and sills. will get some
Microfibre cloths too.
