how many people have you actually spoken to?
Its as all canvassing, a numbers game, if no answer leave a leaflet, when my partner used to sell windows, she would often speak to more people between 6- 8.30 at night, BUT would also canvass during the day and still pick up business, although she knew it would be "tougher" as less people in.
Weekends are usally very good as well for canvassing as I find more people are in.
Also a good tip, is every area you canvass and leaflet try and pop an ad in the local area shop/post office window for a few weeks, its just about getting your name about, then the work will flow in, keep positive and just keep going.
Also if someone asks for a quote and then wants to discuss with other half, get their phone number and follow it up in a couple of days.
Remember (cheesy but true) for wach No you get you are one closer to someone saying yes!
