What a great forum this is you guys really offer some great advice.

I'm looking at buying a portable trolley WFP system as I can't afford to buy a van and then have a system fitted.  Please can any of you advise which is the best system to buy? Or any experience you have of using one.  I live in a hard water area and would prefer to system where you can just add the water and go.  I've been looking at a few systems at www.cleaningspot.co.uk for around £500 - £600.

ebay is a good place to look for cheap trolly systems, there was a good one on there half the quoted prices you've been looking at.  You have to remember though that living in a hard water are it will be much cheaper in the long run to get an RO system and filter the water that way, you could use a di system but you'll spend a great deal of cash on resin.

If its half the price of 500+ trolleys, it'll be a chinese crop sprayer converted, as opposed to a purpose made trolley, made from scratch with development for the window cleaning industry in mind.

luke, just make sure u shop around m8. there is plenty of kit out there that dont cost the earth, trust me ive been there n done it. alot of people try n sell u the stuff just 2 line there own pockets.
again been there n done that : just try n talk 2 as many windys as u can, n find out wot works

This is the kind of thing I was thinking about, only found out about them a few days ago when it popped up on this site, so don't know if it's a Chinese cheapy or not.  I'm even considering getting one myself as a compliment to my truckmount especially with the idea of hoses being banned from roads and footpaths. not trying to panic anyone.
