As Jeff points out de facto this is not an independant forum.
It is a hyper successfull wc'ing forum, whose value lies in the views, knowledge and sheer numbers of windies wanting to have a say.
It's the first port of call for newbs wanting info and inspiration on kit, working practice, and possible earnings. It's a great place for stalwarts to either bragg, learn, or keep an eye on the competition.
I can't see it as a great advertising vehicle though because too many members are against investment, or expensive systems. Someone who knows nothing but buys top kit ( most expensive) would beat the majority of done it on the cheap graduates from here.
These things have a very short shelf life and surely another three years max will see it dwindle.
