Trad public liability insurance help.
« on: March 04, 2010, 07:34:02 pm »
Hi all,

I need to arrange public liability insurance for trad work.

Do any of you recommend a particular company, & are there any other things that I should be requesting cover for, such as damage to glass being worked on, & customers key loss cover?

Many thanks,

Ian.

I think most policys state you have to work withinn current health & safety law, so unless ladder is secure and risk assesment in place, you might aswell save the money or give to charity as you wont be covered.

Honest not kidding, our insurance is the same and its allways worth reading small print, but as with most insurance policys, usually state this.
And anyway the securing ladder and risk assesment is law, not a guide, its law foe last 5 years
