concept

taps on brush

Anyone have their tap on their brush?

Fed up with them breaking when they are at the other end! Spent £50ish in about 3 months. Pain in the rear.

If you have one there, what is it?

put wfp tap into ebay. they have a black body with a red tap. have been using mine for about 6 months and cant knock it. was only about a fiver too

I have my tap on the 8mm hose, then I tuck the tap and hose under my belt so its not being knocked about on the floor, plus I can easily reach the tap to turn of between windows.

Have you looked on window tools forum? There is an autobrush which you tap either way to switch on and off with the pole extended.

I carry my tap on my hip (oooh! nice!  ;D) between the end of the reel hose and where I clip in the pole hose.

For Algarde hose users only, Hozelock micro taps control the flow at the head and a pinch of the hose turns it on off in between, or just stand on it.

On the brush for me. 1/4" Briggs and Stratton lawn mower petrol tap, as seen on the bay.

cant believe everyone is still using the caveman methods  ;D ;D  the only real  flow controler today as i know it is the autobrush, by peter fogwill, which i  still use today, even though i have the best flow control inventions out their today, one day life will be a breeze,

I have the ionics glyder. To stop water I just fold the hose. A neat trick I learned on a course. -f its for an extended period; I use the hose tie (velcro) to keep the hose folded. I keep the velcro in my shirt pocket.
