Sure it isn't the membrane / pre filters that need changing ? What's the tds before di ?
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

Could be the TDS meter is faulty or batteries on the way out.

How do you check the water?

Do you fill the cap with water then test it?

What's the tds after RO and before DI?  If you're getting 95%  rejection it should be about 22-23ppm

Mine is about the same and I have to change resin every 8-10 days (producing about 1600-1800lt/day) so if you produce (say) 400lt/day your resin should last about 32-40 days, but that's with a 6lt resin bottle.  Adjust for smaller bottle.

Don't worry if it's 000 or 001 with new resin and below 005 just before you change it.
It's a game of three halves!

if your checking your tds in a glass of water, give it a few mins to settle. then check it again, should be 000

Try rinsing the testing glass thoroughly with pure water, rinse tds meter in it, then empty out and test again - it might read 000 this time.

If you let it "settle", won't that mean that the solids have sunk to the bottom of the glass, and if you shake it up again the solids will still be there.?

ps Joe, do you fancy doing a logo for me,  :-*

tds means total dissolved solids ;)

Any solid bits should have been removed by your sediment prefilter.

Using the cap will give a false reading.
if theres the slightest partical in the cap the reading will be high due to the low volume of water the cap can hold.

the only way to check your tds is to measure what is actually coming out of the brush anything else is meaningless regards alan
