Connecting pump to power pack
« on: July 06, 2005, 11:01:44 pm »
Hi Guys

Sorry if this is a stupid question but does anyone know how to connect pump to a power pack. (Portable Jump Start from argos) My pump has the clips that connect directly to the car battery and the power pack has a 12v connection Similar to a ciggarette lighter plug. Would I need to buy the connection? If so where from? or is there a really obvious answer? Thanks in advance for any comments.

Bradley.

you might find your ciggie lighter will be fused with a 4amp fuse, the power pack is 10 amp output, thus the fuse will blow

see the link for what i do

Thanks for the link Matt.
So far I have not had a problem with the fuse, (famous last words!) However if I do, I know who to ask!!!  :)
Thanks again.
