solved easy snap fitting problem
« on: March 01, 2010, 06:10:55 pm »
I have lost so many snap fitting due to them not wanting so grip the male fitting end Which then ends up in the bin as the suppliers will always blame you and charge you. This is a very expensive to solve this problem.
The solution is to file the top, side of the top flange round so it goes into the female part better. Do not round over the top only the tops ides as the top edge is what keeps it air tite but the squire sides and top cannot grip if the fitting have had a knock on the head of the flange were the water comes through/ By pounding the top sides the fitting even connects easer. Hope this all makes sence. Good luck

??? not a problem i've ever had to be honest. Can't understand the cure either - you'll have to simplify it for me I'm afraid.

hi lads ..don't post often cause still in the taking in information mode and han'nt really acquired enough yet to start givin it out but had to reply to this cause these ez connectors have really been givin me jip since i started 2 years ago.far to costly for the length of time they last...rusting,sticking,water shootin everywhere when connecting or disconnecting....changed today to air connectors that i heard of on this forum and finished the day with dry legs and feet for possibly the first time since i began..result ;D...would like to know more about the medical connectors jouk as the air ones are a tad on the heavy side to connect to my trigger..

I have a drawing but cannot get it on here if the fitting was your nob then file the sides head round still keeping the hole flat. File only the side that are square if looking from the sides. So cannot explain better.
