Never start a sentance with "And"?

"uPVC" is that right?

Unplasticised Poly Vinyl Chloride

most use the term PVCu these days

at the start of the use ( many years ago ) it was allways called UPVC, BUT around  the start of the 90's ( i know as i was maintaining and installing at the time ) , the manufactures started to call it PVCu

Poly Vinyl Chloride Unplasticised

not much of a difference, though if you speak to the manufacturers you will find they use PVCu

It was just the lower case u I wasn't sure about  ;D

Tut, tut Matt,

You could have at least used your own photographs!!

'Inspired' by this template by any chance?

The copyright bit at the bottom is quite funny though.

All Ive really done is transfer most of the stuff over from one site to the next, with mostly alterations to the text.

Translation:
"All I've really done is rip off the code and images from this site....http://www.studioarts-dtv.co.uk/html/templates.html and passed it off as my own."

Ive done it over the last couple of evenings, if it had been a wet day Id have done the whole site in a day.

Translation:
"Ive done it over the last couple of evenings, but for the sake of a few quid i could have been honest and paid the guy who did the original work to create the site for me."

Window Wipers asks:

Matt... Site looks great. What software did you use to create it ? Or did you do it through code ?

luther1 adds:

As ever Matt, you are are the consumate professional.

Matt bashfully replies:

Thankyou fellas,... And thanks for the compliments, dont know about consummate professional though

and so modestly adds:

I used this mostly http://net2.com/nvu/ but a bit of tinkering with notepad as well.

The world needs more guys like you Matt.

CIU needs more guys like you Mark.

Lets face it, you commented earlier and although you liked the site figured you'd  better try to run me down, just because, well you're on CIU, and thats what they do over there. Well done.

Matt.
It has a nice look to it.
At the bottom of your home page there are a lot of words showing that probably should not be showing.  It looks like they are the search terms that the search engines pick up.  Possibly in some browsers they are hidden if the text and background colours are the same?  I use IE 6 and that part of the page shows as black text on grey background.
Also, I'm not so sure that "work-ethic" and "care-homes" should have hyphens in them.

Thanks Stan, Google can be a bit finicky if you use a font colour the same as the background colour (to hide search terms) it doesnt like it and can penalise your position on a search results page. I may minimise them a little more but we'll see how it goes.

Thanks.

Apart from the last comment, the only comment I have made on 'your' site was this:

My father is the owner of Studio Arts, the designer of the template and code you plagiarized and also the copyright owner of the photos you are using, (incidentally the guy in the photo is called Micah and is a friend of mine)

So forgive me everybody if I don't join in the singing of praises.

and Forgive me if I 'run you down' when you put a post up on here asking people to 'shoot from the hip' and pass comment on your supposed hard work.

Simply a coincidence  ;D

He must be a talented web designer, to have come up with a design so similiar as one made by me  ;D ;D

In all honesty, you should be patting me on the back, pleased, happy about it, there have been a lot of positive comments about my site, you know your father might just get a few leads out of this. I think some commission is called for. You know Mark, you're just a moaning old woman, look on the bright side for once, your Dads got a bit more work because of me. Simples ;D
