Ring that number on my earlier post, they will put you on a payment plan.
I'll be paying mine off by end of April but my brother is paying his over 8 months
at an amount he can afford.

Going to call them when i get back from quoting, paying what i o will not be so much of an issue, but the payment on acount is what concerns me,not going to bother getting the plan to reduce payment on account though.

I'm from the other side (windows) but issues the same. I think you shouldn't be scared of an investigation, there are now soooo many in the same boat they can't investigate them all, add to that the fact that HMRC have drastically cut the specialist staff, there's a much slimmer chance of an investigation than in the past.

Not that you shouldn't pay tax though.

Mark,

DONT sit back and wait

My old accountant did not put my accounts in on time, 18mths and he still didnt put them in  >:( >:(

I have had a hell of a time with the revenue £800 in fines >:( plus all the tax i had to pay 2yrs in arrears and just when i paid them off i had a surcharge of 5%      on all that) >:( >:(

All this and its not MY fault, but when your names at the top, in their eyes it is.

I am now trying to get all the fines and surcharges off my old accountant, but that wont pay for all the sleepless nights iv had. If / when i get the money off him i will then be taking it up with the chartered accountants assosiation to see if i can get any compensation off them/him.
but i wont be holding my breath.

Regards

Daryl
