Easy enough to fit, but be careful where you fit it. You don't want to have exposed hoses under the van cos in the winter they will freeze.

I have mine fitted on the back door so hoses are inside.

You just have to drill individual holes for each hose or one larger hole for all the hoses to go through. The rest is just anchoring the port to the van with the aid of self tapping screws.

They are very easy, I have just fitted my van port today, took me oooo half hour.

Yes. You need holes big enough for each hose or one elongated hole for all the hoses.

I see a port fitted to a fiesta van a few days back it looked like a triple and had been installed in the rear side panel looked like the panel had been cut out and the port riveted in postion

looked a bit of a pro job cut clean and smart
and the lad was working with the van locked

i just need one hose and i was thinking of just glueing a hozelock connector into place. my last van i drilled a hole through the floor. but as you say it froze up in winter

ho'wd you know he was Rumanian?  Are you multilinguist or something?

I lift the hosereel out then close the back doors on the pump-to-reel hose.  The doors close but there's enough clearance in the hose for the water to still flow.  Then I can lock the doors and carry on working.  At least if someone is going to nick my gear, the worst he can do is nick the hose and reel, and I'd soon know because he'd have to cut the hose.

as for fitting outside ports, drill and fit hoses through van floor and use some L shaped aluminium and make your own bracket for the hozeloc connectors, 3 mm should be ok and fix under back bumper.
