Finished a job today put the Sae through the letterbox and without warning it tried to pull my arm through ouch!!! I broke my own rule of not swearing  ::) sat in the back of the van for a while trying to stem the bleeding when the customer turns up, told him what had happened he apologised and went inside to get some antiseptic wipes, then came back out with the bloody dog loose saying he was really friendly ???, I think he thought I was going to make a fuss of the dam thing ::)

My golden rule: never say yes to a cup of tea unless I have inspected the kitchen.

Franky are you Trad?
It's really easy to do - here's how: clip your hose to your belt and march around the house untill you find the most disgusting unsuspecting turd. Next stamp your foot in the middle of it making sure you get the majority well into the tread on your boot. Casually move on to the next window as if nothing happened. Repeat the process ensuring your pole hose gets in a tangle around your feet. Then gently tread all over your pole hose whilst looking skyward.
Now for the important bit : extend your pole hose making sure said turd can travel freely up the inside of your pole coating the inner walls. When you get to the last window collapse the pole and smother your hands in the brown stuff, proceed to step two which is to wind the reel in whilst allowing the hose to pass freely through your hands and onto the reel just below your nose.
Lastly wonder where the smell is coming from: shrug shoulders, jump in the van and grip the steering wheel. ................. Maybe have a sandwich on the way home.  :-X

Yep I'll be doing that from now, the dog was a rescue dog that they had only got a few days ago so it wasn't really their fault, I advised him to get one of those external boxes otherwise he'll have the postman next, luckily the envelope protected the bottom of my finger and the top jaw locked onto the top of my fingernail so no major bite marks but I'll probably loose my nail.

I never put my fingers through a letterbox. I drop many leaflets and i fold them over a 8"x 12 piece of prespecks this I push though the letter box it also make sure the leaflet enters the hall properly I foldan A5 over the bosrd twice and it will open inside and pust letters away from it so my leaflet stands out.Dog with a keen sence to bite i keep a spray bottle of vinagar in the eyes sorts that out .

Snap, Wednesday I finished a row of houses  no one in so one by one i dropped my wee ticket through the letter box, last one and crunch sneaky old Sam the labrador waiting for me 3 fingers bleeding doing my good old John Cleese jumping up and down F'ing and C'ing.
Now the Custy has an outside letter box, moral of the story pay bloody attention at all times  >:( :'( :'(

Excellent idea - gonna nick that one if it's ok! So simple.
