how do you secure your hose and reel in the back of the van, as mine seems to want to move around loads, i use to be able to tie it up in the other van but cant in this one,  has any one screwed there to the floor or any thing like that

I made a heavy wooden drip tray to stand it in, with a support for the centre spindle where the handle is.  The reel is kept in place with a wire hook over the spindle.  This is heavy enough, with a wide flat base to stay still in almost any situation (same as you - 100m 6mm)

I can operate from inside the van or unclip the wire and lift the reel out.

I can lift the tray out to empty it if it fills up with drips.
