Your opinions on 45' pole please

Hi guys,
Still not purchased a 45' pole yet but am getting closer by the minute.
Went to Ionics today to have a look at some extendable poles. F**K me some of those 8ft section ones are a nightmare to put up.
Really want to get myself a 6ft section 45'er now and just want some views on the price. They're going for £702.59 inclusive of VAT.
Weight including 9'' gooseneck, brush and hose is 6.15kg.
Your opinions please.

S-Max 44' from Gardiners? Cheap at the moment.

Removable sections so break it down to whatever length you want. One pole that will do all.

I would say go for gardiners. If access is tight then the sl-max otherwise just go for the sl it will be more rigid and lighter and rigidity is very important at that height. The sl is the lightest and most rigid pole I believe. Another pole to think about would be facelift. Your right though keep the section 5-6ft then they are manageable.

Any idea what the total weight of 12" gooseneck and brush would be, added to the 2.4kg on the 44' Super-Max??

Another half kilo would cover it easily I would have thought probably less.

Hi Guys,
Just bought a Super-Max 44' from Gardiners because it will fit nicely into the van space I have. Probably have to remove the gooseneck and brush each time but at least it fits.
Thanks for everyone's advice on the pole dilema i've had. I'm sure i'll be picking your brains again sometime soon.
Thanks again,
Lance

Give me a chance Ste M.
Only just parted with me cash yesterday. I think the due delivery date is next Tuesday so i'll post again on this thread to let you all know my opinion on the pole.
Just picked up a few cracking new jobs that i'm going to need it for.
Regards,
Lance
