I've a 200gpd and in the last week or so its really slowed down.

I've got a new membrane but the one I'm using isn't that old so I don't really want to change it yet.

The water pressure is normal

Any ideas about this much appreciated.

What about the prefilters?.
Have you flushed the membranes?

I changed my prefilters and resin last weekend and my water production has slowed down.
my TDS on my waste before changing them was 780, it is now 600, my mains TDS is 380.
I have a booster pump also.

Production is slower in the winter due to lower temperatures.

Cheers,Ive flushed membrane,Is there another way of flushing membrane other than using the flush setting?

Would new pre filters speed it up,as this slow down has never happened before,

It slowed down since its got slightly warmer,im in the sunny south.

exactly the same has happened to me , it has never happened to me in 2 winters and in the coldest temps this year production was fine , it has been for me in the lat 2 weeks!! i bought new membranes £160 and it didnt make the slightest difference

I've definately more waste water than before,don't know what that might mean.

I'll change everything and see what happens

My waste TDS is lower, so that means more water is coming out of the waste pipe (diluting) my waste TDS has dropped 180.

The membranes froze and split in the cold arctic weather in january, ....now they are working overtime and knackered...new ones required.

All wfp systems should have a set amount going to drain per minute (sometimes this maybe adjustable) for them to work effectively, cold should not affect the amount you have going to drain, however for every 1 degree in temp below 25 degrees your mains water is you will lose 2% production rate. This means if the mains water is 20 degrees you will lose 10% product rate adding 6 mins to every hour your machine usually takes to fill. If the water is around 12 degrees which in a lot of places it is (or colder!!) You will lose 26% product rate adding a whole hour to you fill if it takes 4 hours to fill usually.

This is due to the water becoming closer to a solid state (in science terms) and making it more difficult to pass through the membrane.

You should still produce 000 tds water and the drain rate should still be what you set it as.
