liking the sound of the dispatches lads, any price for the one for sale in april and of course any pics available?  they have 3 seats yes?  must be reliable vans though :) im sure they are.  are the parts expensive and are they easily sourced?? problem im having with my caddy is i have to go direct to the dealer which is costing me too much, filters for oil and fuel and air are ok they can be got cheaper but anything else is mental money, keep me in mind lads.  Ive tried autotrader.  I have to put 6 months tax on my own van now so i can keep working for the minute.

i only wish i had a spare 3k lying about :( i have to look for the money for a new van, pay extra insurance, get my current one sold off when i get new and pay out for fitting of tank etc into new van and new lettering on the side of the van, its crazy when you try and work it all out like that!!

the problem you have jrde is if you keep buying cheap vans and fitting your system in it then the van has problems you have to keep swapping vans/ systems etc.extra expense while your trying to build a decent repeat window cleaning business!

im hoping i will get a decent van for 3 grand that will last for 3-4 years.fit a 350/400 lt system in the back and get working hard!i have a good large established round.so ive got the work already!

how many custys you got now jrde?

when i started 16 years ago i just had an old banger i picked up for £300,got a cheap roof rack/ladders/scrim etc and bought a few days work and canvassed every weekend for 6 months!

with wfp its just so much more expensive esp if youve not got much work!

good luck anyway mate

got 26 new ones since start of feb so far, snow today which has hampered me a bit along with my wee lad being sick with the cold the last 2 days and mid term break im getting a bit behind.  But im getting there.  I dont find the WFP costing me much at all apart from the frost breaking stuff but that was my own fault, i would say id be out alot more on clothes etc if i was trad only.

craig b where abouts are you from?  just wondering on distance.

based in belfast....  my wee van is just past its psv.. new battery..£65 ...two new tyres £120
had the van for 6 years ...
has never give me any hassle except for general wear and tear..also new exhaust fitted last year
got a roof rack and tow bar  fitted (if only towed a caravan 4 times)
anyway when iam getting shot will give you a shout

have you any pics of it at all and have you got a tank in the back currently?  If you could put up couple of pics or send them to me privately of outside of van and the inside id be greatful.

getting shot sounds like you want rid and quick lol
