got my new van 1st dec. 2weeks later had my 350lt vms installed, got a couple
of short days in b4 the snow set in. had 2weeks off over xmas. since then ive
still not managed 2get all my work done. ive now only got just over aday left
n i have finally done my work :. 2months 2do 1months work???!!!!
had so many probs with the van, im now handing it back 2the people i bourght
the dam thing from . fingers crossed my new year will start 1st march
never been so skint in my live come so close 2selling up
just thought i would share that with u all.

Keep your head up mate theres lots of people in the same boat, I had 3 weeks due to bad weather, back for 2 days the break pip split on van so 2 more days off, then the snow returned for 5 days, back to work for a week then some transit driver decided to reverse into my van smashing all lights, bumper and door, its in garage now and not back till thursday then friday its in for mot

i would say all of us are in the same boat for getting behind on work but you will soon get caught up the days are stopping lighter for longer now , dont let it get you down .

where do i start i will just make u a list.... its quicker :
back tyers not van tyers they where car ones.
exhaust was falling off.
engine/gear box mountin knackered.
paint work had not been done.
front breaks shot 2bits.
central lockin keeps goin wrong.
at the mo thats it :

Ive been in same boat mate, ill 2 weeks before xmas, week off for xmas, then the snow was at my house for 4 weeks making it impossible to get my vehicles up to house so therefore not getting water...when it cleared i went out to start and my RO had smashed ...again. But had a 1000litres in tank so thought ill be ok for couple of weeks on that...went in house came back out with garage looded, the transfer hose had dropped on floor and chucked all water out. THEN we had had a holiday booked for months so had to go on that, got a few days done last week...and now the kids are off this week so im designated babysitter...

But try not to worry...we're all in same boat mate.

sounds like you bought a lemon mate!we ve all been taken by surprise by the extreme weather over the last few months.ive been ok even though i didnt work for nearly 4 weeks over xmas as im a lot more sensible with money these days and always putting money away for a rainy(or snow/icey)day!

im 100% trad at the moment which probably made my life a lot easier and simpler during the big freeze!

people i got the van from. & they have now agreed 2 take it back
u could say im happy! new van sorted, pick it up in the next 10 days.......
