Answer to Jays I used the yellow harris fibre glass pole to extend the alloy harris pole> I cut here the top alloy piece and use the yellow fibre glass section I Found a alloy sections from a curtain rail that went over the yellow glass and over the alloy section and epoxy glue it to the yellow section and the harris pole fits in on top. That adds 2 metres. I then added another yellow section to the bottom of that section again which now give me 30 foot pole. Go and look at the yellow fibre glass pole first and this might make sense.I f you do no u8nder stand ash me to help on forum.

aye i can see the pic scrimmy. i take it the hole goes through the cone shaped part and the bit at the top is threaded? or am i totally wrong

spot on stu....the threaded bit at the top takes the angle adaptor that you will have for your brush.

is the curtain rail in B and Q / what was its name? and is it alloy or steel/ . how do you stop it turning when you are using it>?

i want to buy/make/use about a 9/10 metre pole for trad work ,im using a fishing pole right now that goes to about 10metres ,but i cant go horizontal with it as sure it will snap .

 I want one from shop.

cleewindows, only a week or so ago you said you didnt want to DIY it had to be one from a shop, you do realise the harris isnt a window cleaning pole
