Hi, does anybody know how much the clip on heater is for it? i'm after a portable, sounds a good machine, just been on the prochem 2day course, and want a new machine asap.

thanks steve, unsure what to buy, I was told on the course that the best porty for a starter should only be capable of 100ish psi, not convinced though, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You want a minimum of 135psi and twin vac - but to put that into perspective I am upgrading a 400psi and twin vac to a 600psi and triple vac, thats how much things have changed.

Steve, have you seen any pics of the Magma heater? i'm tempted to get one too for my airflex but if it perfoms like the heat and run from prochem, i wont bother...

thanks steve, if you were in my situation would you buy this machine? or save a bit of cash and get a cheaper porty.

No Tony, I've taken Matt's word for how good it is - he reckons it is instant hot from cold, time will tell if it's a good investment or not

happy mondays

I don't know your situation, but if you are a new starter I would advise you to get a good, second hand machine off e-bay or the buy and sell sections on the various forums. Then build your business up and then upgrade.

Other people might say steam in and buy a brand new 2 grand plus machine, but if it doesn't work out you've then got to sell it, usually at a loss.

Then again, one of the guys on here started from scratch with a £10,000 plus truckmount and made a success of it - it all depends what sort of a guy you are and what your drive and ambition is, hope this helps.

Yes Shaun, went for the triple vac 600 psi, plus heater, plus exhaust pac, wand and glide.

Had the Ninja 2 years now and it's time to upgrade everything, wand, hoses, agitator - the lot.

Steve

PS: possibly selling the Ninja if your interested  ;)

Steve I am interested but was potentially looking at the Airflex anyway, perhaps you could send me the details of what model etc and price on the other forum with private messages?

Thanks Shaun

Hi Bob

I'm not getting the machine until start of March, there has been a backlog of orders due to a delay at the moulders.

I haven't even seen a picture of the heater yet, so I have taken Matt's word for it's capability.
