Forgive my scepticism, but no battery will last for three months without charging unless you're doing absolutely no work.

Simple arithmetic: 90ah battery if run to absolute flat will power a 7 am pump for 12.86 hours

Something not right there, somewhere.  Are you sure you haven't got it hooked up to some sort of on-board charging system?  Newer pump controllers incorporate their own SCR circuit.

Over 4 years and never bought a battery. Keep getting 'dead' ones using them. I have a smart battery charger so it can almost bring them back from the dead.

I've just bought an 85ah leisure battery, I have it on charge right now, it was only 80% charged.

i work on average about 3 days a week about 4 - 6 hours a day,  and i honeslty have only charged it 2 times, once about 3 months after i bought it and once at xmas as i had it out of the van,  i only connect it when i am using it  i dont leave it connected when driving around i only have the pump connected to it no controller or any thing to drain the battery

i got the battery from a garage near me  told him what  wanted it for and he said i know one which will last so had to order it in  the pump i have is an 60 psi, pump from wintecs think it is a sureflo

Anyone use the purefreedom deep cycle battery charger?
Just wondered if it charges at 4amps on slow and 8 amps on fast?
