First time out in ages despite saying im going to get off my as*. Pulled in £78 in walking distance of my other jobs on said day and 4  people really interested but need to work out date and times if convenient for me due to no access to back. (Three of these dont seem like your usual messers) Basically got 2 of them just working out times.

Very happy and on this every night.

Been saying for too long im going to get off my bum and get more work but have not done it.

Got a holiday to Egypt in June and that has given me the push.

Get out there guys, dont hesitate and waste.

I am in need of doing some more,picked up 8 last week after 2 days door knocking,need to follow up on people who were out,got 18-20 beginning of jan after door knocking a village,which i will hopefully make a good start on tomorrw,If the weather lets me,gave a wet day  What time you been out door knocking?

thankfully i aint got a double chin yet,I am 6'2" and big framed so the weight sits on me ok,but I recon if i hit 20 stone the double chin will be here  keep meaning to go running or something,but i never have been big on running,plus bigger you get,the lazier you get and the bigger you get,Just need to break that vicious circle.

Sorry to butt in!! I am seriously thinking about setting up as a window cleaner-whats the best things to say when canvassing-apart from the obvious!

I went out from 6.15 to 7.30,

I usual push a leaflet towaqrds the person and say,

Good evening, I'm a local window cleaner and actually clean alot of houses in your area/road/etc.......
And am currently trying to expand my business.

i sell myself a bit by slipping in there that I have been in that area for so and so time and the date im in the area each month to let them know that im reliable and have been frequent.

If you get a customer always slip it in on the next few houses that the neighbour or ladie a few doors down has taken you up.

Its easy stuff really, just relax.

Dont go in with too much of a set pitch tho as everyone that answers the door is different, so I change my tone etc. If its bit of a lad il try have a laugh, or a little ladie il sound sympathetic.being the same all the time with different people can make things feel a little awkward.

hey krave,i am doing ok mate,not been doing as much door knocking as i should,and following up on dropped leaflets needs to be greatly improved,but had a ok couple of days last week door knocking,if weather is bad tomorrow i will head out,just getting motivated to do it on cold dark evening,will try a saturday this week i think.How are you getting on?

Well today is the first real day I Have canvassed. Been meaning to since before christmas but kept putting it off.
Was raining earlier so wasnt he best, but all in all wasnt bad at all. Didnt really bother me in the end.

Just wanting to get a good wage and not a basic one. hardly working atm so potential for me is huge.

Get out there mate!!!

yeh
