Has anyone any experience of adding an extra section to a new type SLX 25ft pole?

I'm surprised that no other forum member has done this.  I bought the slx 25 thinking it would cover all my needs but I have a few now where an extra section would make a big difference.

As far as i can see it's just a matter of buying the next size up section.  I won't have the red and yellow warning rings but I can live with that.

I emailed Gardiners yesterday but no response.  This is unusual as they are usually on the ball.

i added a section to my 30ft slx to make it 35ft, all i did was paint the red an yellow on with model paint

did you do this with new sections from gardiners as i was under the influence that you could not do this.

Yes, bought 2 extra sections, instead of it being an 18 footer its 28 now I think.
