For stand alone jobs the backpack is ideal, I use the big trolley for compact estates.
here are both of mine.

WcW about £105

Heres a pic of one of my Blue Peter jobs. My van had broke down, so i did the loal ones with this (about a mile away on the day)

The trolley cost me £20 +vat plus the cost of a few bungees... the rest you can figure out

Be careful of the redhatdiving one mate. I bought one last week. It's a shurflo imitation from China. Ok,I've had it 4 or 5 days and it aint broken yet BUT I am nervous about it. I've ordered a backup(or 2) from Bonbon pebbles(ebay) 2 delivered for £280, but they ARE shurflo's. I've been using him for about 4 years and i can't fault the guy or the product  ;)

williamson pumps shurflo is £147.

Is that real McCoy.

varitechs shurflo £235 :o

i have wcw back pack is good but no flow control, you can use hozle lock connector with valve control, but pants as doesn't relly slow flow as it just shut of pump rather than slow flow.

i belive shurlo has 4 speed controller.

only thing i don't like on shurflo doesn't have handle, wcw bkpk has built in handle, really like this.

Anything you can do to make a handle on shurflo as wouldn't wear on my back

cheers lee

make a return for the pack so some of water goes directly
back to back pack rather than up your pole hose,i did this with
my shurflo when the pcb broke down for the second time

I don`t think Williamsons are stocking the Shurflo anymore. Or won`t be in the future. Some problem with the US suppliers.
But soon they will be selling a WCW one with a variable speed setting. At present the one they stock is very similar (if not the same) to WCW b`pack one with just one flow setting.

Lee, they are on the Williamsons website now but not in stock yet. Apart from the colour it looks identical to the WCW one.

I can get 2 x 3bed semis done with a full wcw backpack. Takes some practice to use such little water. I used to use two backpacks per 3 bed semi when I first started out. Its all about where you put the backpack.

just cut the out going pipe, fit a Y joint and run 1 tail of the Y up the pole and the other tail fit a small tap valve and run it back into the tank, zip tie the pipe tight to each other and it does get caught on anything

open the tap a little to put a little back into the tank, thus the flow will slow down to the pole

job done
