Alight All,

Im looking into stone & brick work cleaning and am after where offers training on this kind of work. Also are there any good sites to look at regarding this or places to get info on such work. By this i mean walls and floors.

Also graffitti removal is another thing id like info on in general.

In both cases what kind of equipment/materials are needed for a basic standard but still to a professional level (if that makes sense) and is it financialy a good service to offer.

Any help and advice appreciated.

Bit of a one stop shop really which is no doubt what Mr Centurywise had in mind - good luck to him I say...

They are retailing equipment (why not) and its heading towards the industrial blast cleaning side of the business which is what you seem to be asking about - I am currently equipping a truckmount for tile and grout floor cleaning plus drives, patios and decks etc - dont really want to go as far as buying a big heavy ole 180 cfm pressor to tow around thanks not to mention the blastpots and diving suits! - I think I'll stick to water... the insurance is bad enough for that...

I must have imagined there was a section on CIU about pressure washing but it appears there aint - could be a natural add-on to this site tho - If you find another forum with info on pressure washing etc let me know

there are loads of posts on pressure cleaning here, just click back a few pages, also have a look at scsf there forum is used by alot of the members on here.As for training see if you can find a local guy and offer to do a day or two for free to pick up the basics. The only training i did was for graffiti removal which was a one day hands on course with a company called "graffiti hotline" they are very good and will also help you to price up jobs, they are also used by alot of local authorities to train their staff

Cleaner-Exteriors - cheers also for help. did do a bit of this work around 8 years ago for a company i worked for. Used VERY strong chems for graffiti type removal and wall 'cleaning', remember scratching my ear and forgot i had some 'chem' on my glove....bit of my ear went black and scabed up, was ok in end but bit of a worry for a few days as thorght my ear would fall off
