Some think they're are the bees knees
Me, I think they're rubbish, non absorbant, you need the strngth of Arnie to wring the things out, cost a fortune and chucks fluid out for yards in all directions.
Get some cotton based pads

Charly pads are suberb, i have used micro fibre, cotton & charly pads & found that th charly pads were the best. Use a wringer bucket to wring them out. You will find that charly pads work best once they have been used a few times & laundered. When new they are quite stiff but it dont take long for them to soften up.

I just don't rate them at all and don't think they live up to the claims made about them.....
I purchased some at great expense, was very dissapointed in their performance and now they sit in the van like they were last years mobile phone....

How many have you got Les? Would you want to sell them & if so how much. Have they had much use?

I agree Mark, we only use them on carpet tiles & have had amazing results when using the charly pads.

Your local janitorial suppler will have them in stock. DONT go for a cheap one though. Its worth paying the extra.

The plastic configeration that came with mine lasted about 6 jobs before it starting slipping teeth wheels, so go for something with as much metal in it as possible.
They need to be strong to wring out charlie pads, I mean really strong.

Colin, be sure to get a double bucket / single wringer. One for the pad and solution and the other for wringing.
Only know this after attending one of Altec's training days last year as not yet used Charly pads.
I'll have a look through some old receipts as we always get wringer buckets for bargain prices. Still all going strong and the we've had a few for several years.
