To be honest there is not much to a portable machine. Vac motors, water pump, couple of hoses, wiring. All of which is easy to service. If you have know knowledge i suggest that you contact a local carpet cleaner & ask if you can be shown how to do maintence on your machine. Most carpet cleaners are decent people that would be willing to show you how.
