Happy medium ladder for residential homes.
« on: January 26, 2010, 04:44:39 pm »
Hi all,

I am still trying to decide on what would be an ideal ladder to use for mainly residential homes & first floor flats, & weight being a factor aswell?

I was going to settle for a 3.5 mtr standard EN131 double, but then thought, would it be more worth my while getting a 3 mtr treble, & I might be able to remove 1 section & save weight on the majority of jobs?

If anyone can advise on a happy medium set, then I would be most grateful, & thanks for your time.

ive always used a 3.5 metre 2 section trade ladder.reaches all my domestics etc and not too heavy!anything awkward or higher i use an extension pole.i also have a small single pointer which comes in handy for high bottom windows/climbing gates etc.

3.5 doubles are more than enough as you should try and stay away from anything that they cant reach think safty first you shouldnt need to go any higher than what they can extend to any way just dont get domestic tade are so much more sturdy and will out live domestic ladders
