Snap, I have done the same thing honestly.

Bent over yesterday and ouch, luvkily i had a physio appointment for my shoulder this morning, and we spent more time on my back than arm.

I was given 3 exercises

1/  lie on your back keeping your feet on the ground draw them towards your but, keep your knees together then move them side to side together.

2 lie on your back and draw your knees up  to your chest one at a time

3 was to strech your back by sitting and bending over to touch your knees.

if it gets worse go see a Chiropractor, best money i ever spent,  had an accident  and after a year of going doctor went to see a Chiropractor on my own advice turns out i had twisted my pelves, and spine and parts of my neck had seperated,  i was only in there 2 hours and she knew what was up with me  fixed it with in 6 months,

u can tell if you got back probs or pelves probs, by your shoes, if one of the under soles is wearing out quicker than other u might have a problem, as your body will transfer all the weight to a good leg when walking so you aint in pain

Nooh,
too soon, just stand against a wall a walk your fingers up the wall as high as you can until you feel pain and hold at that point for a feww seconds, one arm at a time.
Take maximum Ibuferen for 3 days only, then reduce. Then start the excercises. Go to the other forum "Pros"and look in the archives for a topic called the "Back Pages" where I have collected injury info for a couple of years.
It will get slightly better in 5 days, trust me I have a permanent prolapsed spine. See a proper recognised chiropractor when you can get an appointement, It wont be cheap because they should really take an x ray.
Every one is different. But you can get it right.
Get out of bed and keep it moving.

Same thing happened to me twice, not as bad as yours sounds, but I realised it was time to get a tank fitted in van, as we all know 25 litr is 25 kg!  And over reaching can seriously do your lower back !

Hope back gets better real soon

Mr B
If in doubt.....Leave it out !!
