I've been approached by several similar organisations but in reality I can't see the benefit. They only really want your money at the end of they day.

like vince said, there seems to be a lot of organisations around that just want your money and there badges look good on the internet or adverts,   the majority of people wont know what half the organisations area any way,

it all depends on what direction you want to take your business in    if its all commercial, then try it and see, domestic, i would not botheredd, spend the money on advertising

I think the biggest (potential) advantage is that you get assistance if you have an IR investigation.
I have never been to any of the meetups so there may be some benefit there but I do have reservations.  The membership fee is tax deductible BTW so actually costs about a third less than the charge if you are a basic rate taxpayer who pays standard NI.
I do get the odd phone call from people selling stuff who say that they are from the FSB but on closer questioning, they are always just members like myself.
Sure a lot of it is about being in a willy waving contest but there does seem to be some practical benefit too.

That's a networking group. FSB is different
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go
