This may be a thread concerning a grumpy customer who told their window cleaner to clear off in no uncertain terms, and given the context of how he was told to clear off I think it is right to leave the asterisked swearword as it stands.
But in your replies, please avoid the use of said language...
And yes, I know, picky, picky picky, but admin ABSOLUTELY forbids foul language.
Anyway, should a customer speak to me like my initial reaction would be to apologise for waking him, grit my teeth and do as he requested.
I'd bill him for the full amount and I'd dump the account from there on in.
But of course it also depends on tone of voice and inflection doesn't it?
spoken in a tired but casual voice you can accept it, but a window thrown open and being spoken to angrily in a loud voice for instance would have left me telling him that I won't be spoken to like than and that he can shove the job up his backside
