« on: January 20, 2010, 02:04:36 pm »
what a joke!

ordered equipment on friday for a mon/tues del - was told no probs!

its now wednesday and i have just had less than half of my delivery sent!

told the final cost on the phone and now i get the invoice, the full amount taken was £30 more!
taking more from my card is surely theft!

told it was free delivery and now i see i have paid £12.00 for it!

not happy!  >:(

have you recieved the trolley yet. unfortunatly it is out of my hands with the couriers. i try my best for everything to run smoothley, unfortunatly in business this sometimes does not happen as im sure some of you will know. im sure when you recieve the product you will be more than happy. as for the invoice if you had raised this issue with myself it would have got resolved straight away. i can only apolagise

In fairness this is the first bad review I've ever heard about X-line,.. and I know the guys there will do their best to sort you out asap. Maybe it would have been a better idea to talk to them first before posting here?

I completly agree 100% on this there has been a few posts over the past few weeks slagging suppliers off

while it is in our interest to hear about these problems i feel it is unfair as most times the supplier is unaware they are getting slated on this and other forums and therefor are unable to defend the problem

I am sure you will get sorted out by xline as again i have never heard  anything bad about them

First and foremost, any grievance with a supplier should be taken up with them simply because you won't get it sorted by complaining on here.

However, if you have contacted them and don't get a satisfactory reply then by all means make others aware of the situation without slating them.

Slating people on an open forum like this could also leave you wide open for being accused of slander.

im not slating them, its all facts of the problems i have had!

just making people aware and wanted to see if anyone else has had problems, going by the others posts i can see that i should be able to get the probs sorted soon.

and im sure the products i have purchased will be great.

yes i have now got the trolley and it does look very well built and a good bit of kit. still missing the other 2 barrels which is the fault of the del company. i only got the invoice through the post after i spoke to you. i didnt get your email, so i couldnt ring you.

every issue i have had has not been resolved.

Bit harsh to post it on here without resolving it first imo. We all make mistakes, its how we deal with them that makes the difference.

Martin,

Before you - or anyone else for that matter - uses the forum to so fully castigate a supplier, please ensure you have;

1.

Exhausted all other legitimate avenues of complaint, more especially please correspond with whoever you have your problem with before you bring it on here.

2.

Should you then air your grievance on the forum, please be circumspect and also be aware of libel laws.
