Gutter cleaning question
« on: January 20, 2010, 12:44:37 pm »

I cleaned out my gutters couple of weeks ago by using a ladder and trowel...they were pretty badly full of moss and weeds which were pretty thick and in places hard to remove...my question is are these gutter vacs fit to clean out gutters as bad as described, my thoughts would be no way would the motors be able to take the crap that's up there but i could be wrong...

Also you folk who clean gutter i take it you clean the out side of them? does it require you to get up a ladder anyway or can they be do wfp were again id imagine that a tricky enough job especially on very dirty gutters?

If anyone could lend any help here that would be great.

I dont own a gutter vac but I've seen them. Theres a tool that fits on the end of hose called a spike. This is supposed to break everything up in the gutter making it easier for vaccum to suck the waste.

As for cleaning the outside of gutters and facias I use my pole.

I am yet to find a gutter that is too much for my guttervac, and I pressurewash the outsides.
