Help !!! any promount 20 users out there ? my t/m was frozen over newyear since my prassure gauge is stuck at 1000 psi ,but still works if you accept 1000 is the new 0  my main problem is that im getting only luke warm water anyone? and before anyone says about a heater i had one in and broke down.

Sounds as though yor heat exchanger has a hole in it somewhere or that the psi is low and your not passing the water through quick enough, Dave Ingram is the man you want.

Have you de-scaled it? or run acid rinse through it on all jobs? A limescale covered TM will reduce its running efficiency and affect psi aswell as heat.

no i havent Mark I got it new last april and bought some descailer of John Kelly, but have been putting it off.

To descale your TM you need to first empty your header tank, put your descaler in and then put some fresh kettle water in to the top then put a length of solution hose to your machine and get an open end or your upholstery tool and spray the jet back into the header tank therefore recirculating the descaler and after 15 mins or so you then spray the contents into the dump tank.

Saying that if you are getting very low heat I still think it's more serious.

I| got it from woodbridge I would ask for advice from them but they couldnt organise a P*ss up in a brewery,i have been through hell with these, in fact I could write a good book.

i got woodbridge 15hp had couple probs been on phone today with martin good as gold sending me new bit in post my cousin got the 25hp had it 4 years not one prob either whats actully wrong with yours

blimey thats some distance am quite lucky cause my cousin lives hour down road in plymouth from me and he knows alot about them and helped me but its still under warranty so just go down there they will help is all filters ok fuses etc prob something simple

i doubt that the problem is scale, it sounds like you have a burst HX somewhere.  not knowing the Prmount range makes it difficult to helpwithout seeing the unit.  Does there appear to be any water leaking into the van or is there water coming out of the exhaust?  Also, does the waste tank appear to be filling up quicker than normal?  Does your water pressure at the wand appear to be the way it was before the TM froze?

richie there is no water coming into the van,but I did notice more water than usual coming out the exhaust,when i switched her off,but not a great deal , but would a burst h.e. affect the heat coming through? also I dont seem to have lost any pressure
