coshh data sheets come with the chemicals you order i think now do they suppily the risk assements as well or do i draw these up my self,i think i know the answer but not sure,dont want to do unnessery paper work if not needed i have a lot of that allready setting up this company. i think the answer is yes .i did see in another post by glyn clean it up god, but its the lay out also do i need fire , sharps, and empolyee ones as well when setting a tender i know i go on a lot any help would be greatfully recived

K.I.S cleaning service, you will need different risk assesments for different types of cleaning as well as method statements.IE offices,new build ,deep cleans etc. could you not borrow one from were you work at the minute.

If you dont get any help i will get your address of you and send them over  to give you an idea.

ho dear. i thought it was one risk ass for what ever cleaning you did, just tweaked it a little for different things.i have drawn up some form of risk ass for chemicals how to use , hazerds ,control measures that kind of thing. on paper it does not look much, not right ,if you know what i mean.craig i cant ask to borrow one if they new i was about to leave they would sack me first and i need my wage at the mo. i have a sales guy from yellow pages coming tuesday to sort costs and size of ads out, the pages are coming out in my area in dec.a bit early for me was planing feb time so now starting to feel under pressure

hi there,

method statements-  are for activities, ie floor mopping, floor vacuuming, dry wiping.

risk assessments- are for the job being done, and should be site specific. we have a risk assessements for a new build house cleaner, and then bolted onto that are a number of other risk assessements, these include, portable power tools/appliances, traffic managment, slip, trips and falls, and manual handling.

coshh assessments- are an assessment of potential dangers when using or carrying out a process with a chemical, and by processess, that includes storaqe, transportation and decanting of the chemicals.
