Hi all

I am thinking of setting up an on line payment system for my business
and am wondering how you go about it and the best way of doing it

has anyone go a system that they use ?

how do you know which customer has paid ?

And what sort of costs are incurred ?

we currently have all our customers on a card system all with their own numbers that only relate to them , could i some how incorperate this into the payment system so as i know who has paid

How about their postcode and house number as their reference..this they should be able to remember....works for us.

but do you have a web site that they log into to pay ?

is there some sort of box on the page that they can put the details ?

I just put my account no and sort code on slips and customers play direct into my bank and use there address as a reference, I don't occur any charges by bank. Works really well and customers seem to like it. Grant

Same here. I always ask new custys if they do online banking, if they do then a slip of paper with Account no. and sort code is the best way to go.
