« on: January 12, 2010, 07:28:50 pm »
:) hi can anyone help with costing advice

for 4601 sq metres of commercial restoration cleaning

low profile carpeting, tiles and wool content, some areas of heavy soiling in traffic walkways

company use hot water extraction  in past but leaves carpet wet and re-soils very quickly typical  scenario when carpets can not dry properly

and soiling wicks from base

any help would be very much apreciated

I would charge £4500 and use mostly Lm rotary cleaning , with up to  4 buffers going , would hire in a TM  for the heavy traffic areas if possible.

I clean carpets
I dry Buildings

Price wise i would cost that at between £4500 & £6440 depending on what you think you could get away with.

We might be available with a Scorpion porty, Hydramaster TM & bonnet system 07984 052 669

Same as jason and i would def go in with l m cleaning and maybe hwe for the main bad traffic areas.

Plenty of pads and you will find that some areas you will be able to use just a few on the not so bad areas..

Thanks for all the offers of help on this one

the work needs to be completed over a weekend

start date possibly next week end

as for using truck mount i have one but do not have enough hoses to reach

to the end of building,

this carpet has to dry out quick, for obvious reasons which

is why i wondered if dry fusion would be beter than just rotary , also what type of bonnetts are best for this?/  cotton or synthetic

also as there is heavy soiling of a industrial nature what would you recomend as the cleaner Prochem bonnet buff or chemspec ??

anyone had this type of experience??

there are some coffee staining and the odd solvent spot that would reqiure gel or other that does not affect the backing.

What of dry fusion any one ??

I use fusion clean from Nick I personally believe that I can get as good a result with a non heated buffer but I have had great results with mpower and nemesis from Restormate

I can bring kit to bonnet buff and also a porty. The worst area may benefit from a quick extraction clean, blowers and buffing to remove track marks.

Same as shaun and maybe take some turbo dryers.

there again it will dry very quick with the buffer and it does not matter if its a dry fusion or just a buffer and pads :)
