I have been mainly using prochem chemicals and although i get on very well fancy trying some different brands to compare.

could someone give me some equivalents.

Pre sprays    Powerburst
                     Pre spray gold
                     Fabric Restorer

Rinses           Fabric and Fibre

Only use champion as last ditch attempt, ph 13.5 way too high for general cleaning    Try Pureclean maybes

If you are getting on well with the Prochem chemicals, why change?

As a general overview, my experience over the years has shown me that chemicals are only a small part of the cleaning pie. Get the procedures right and most quality chems. will produce an excellent job. Prochem are up there with the best and I feel sure that you will have experimented earlier on to find out what works best for the way you work and with your local water.

Where you need to look at different products is if you need a problem solver eg Crystal Green, enzyme detergents, buffered or unbuffered products etc. etc.  Or you may want to change your business direction or add on a "Green" option.

Our industry is littered with those who've tried different products because X, Y and Z in different parts of the country says that Super Suds is the best thing since sliced bread. Those same people use up half their chemical storage space with products they once bought and want to forget about, but just can't bring themselves to dump it or give it away. Been there, done that, bought the Tee Shirt, washed, dried and ironed it

A much cheaper alternative to Prochems f and f rinse is the Alltec acid rinse which comes in granular form and is a fraction of the price.

Not tried Alltec's but Hydramaster Clearwater rinse is excellent and cheap as chips.

Although Hydramasters Clearwater rinse is apparently reformulated by Solutions UK.  Dont know if its exactley the same as the Hydramaster Clearwater rinse.
