I use the brodex alloy 7 & 25ft mate, they are great poles for the price, just quite heavy tho.
I think the 36ft might be very heavy.
I would recomend getting the brodex trigger fitter, as they do save a bit of water.
I also dont like the pole hose that come with all brodex poles, but they are easy to change.
The quality of the pole is fantastic, The pole clamps are good, and the alloy end butt is very strong.
Overall i find them a great pole to use, with quite little bend in them.

We received 7ft and 18ft Brodex alloy poles couple of weeks ago. I have not seen them personally, but I been told by my collegues the same as James already said - "great poles for the price". Perfect manufactured and not too heavy... up to 18ft.
7ft alloy pole is very compact (bare) - just 1 meter (3’4”, 3-section). I presume not bad demand for 7ft pole from wc alpinists in Russia.
regards,
Vadim

I use a 36 foot hydra pole and is quite rigid compared to the glass fibre range, alot lighter too, good pole at that lenght,at least it's easy to control,I can remove and add on sections when needed,I did have to use super glue on a few of the clamps as they came away from the pole though ,I could have got a different pole as there is a three year guarentee on them but would probobly happen again but a bit of glue has sorted the problem out now, good pole all round and for the price is a bargain

I have one. They are well made but do feel a bit heavy.
